Angel Sanchez is an architect by trade, and a designer
by choice. He draws from the former in creating elegant
eveningwear and bridal gowns that are architectural and
contemporary while still being feminine. In 15 years, he
has created a global brand and has become one of the
most important designers of the new international
generation.
Sanchez has been intrigued with fashion since childhood.
"I believe that being raised in an atelier among dress
forms and fabrics, watching my mother sew, made me
wonder about the magical abilities in her hands. My
mother was my first inspiration, because of her taste
and determination," said Sanchez. He began his fashion
career in his native Venezuela in 1987, designing both
bridal and eveningwear.

He
earned swift national recognition, and had the foresight
to expand his business globally. By 1997 he opened a
showroom featuring his eveningwear in Manhattan's
Fashion District and quickly built relationships with
prominent stores such as Bergdorf Goodman.
